Friday, 16 November - Nigella Lawson, Gourmet Beach BBQ, 12:00pm – 3:30pm

Kick off your Gourmet Escape with Domestic Goddess Nigella Lawson at this famous event - Gourmet Beach BBQ at Castle Rock Beach. Guests can enjoy a lunch at the beachside eatery - canapés, free flow beer and wine, and a BBQ menu inspired by Nigella’s recipes from her latest cookbook, At My Table – an absolute feast for the senses. The BBQ lunch will be the first chance for guests to see Nigella at the festival and enjoy a relaxed Q & A discussing her remarkable career in this unique & stunning location.
This quintessential Australian Gourmet Beach BBQ, a signature event of the festival, will be hosted all weekend by Justine Schofield from Everyday Gourmet.
 

Saturday 17th November - Cullen Wines International Chardonnary Tasting - 11:00am

Pioneering biodynamic Margaret River/Wilyabrup wine growers Cullen Wines invites you to celebrate their iconic “33rd International Chardonnay Tasting”, lunch in the vineyard and release of 2017 Kevin John Chardonnay.
Dr Kevin John Cullen held the first Cullen Chardonnay Tasting in 1985 and this year’s 33rd anniversary line-up will feature wines from chardonnay’s spiritual home of Burgundy, New Zealand, Australia and – of course – Margaret River.
This iconic tasting will be followed with lunch among the vines prepared by legendary chef, Tetsuya Wakuda of Sydney fine diner Tetsuya’s and Singapore’s Waku Ghin. Wakuda was one of the first chefs internationally to combine Japanese and French cooking and he will serve four courses of elegant, Japanese-inspired cooking paired with flagship Cullen wines.
Cullen head chef Iain Robertson will work alongside Wakuda with produce grown in the biodynamic kitchen garden.
Wine comments from Cullen winegrower Vanya Cullen and respected British wine writer Sarah Ahmed of The Wine Detective.
 

Sunday 18th November - Guy Grossi, Ocean Dream, 12:00-3:00pm

Enjoy an ultimate Italian summer fantasy aboard luxury catamaran - Ocean Dream, that usually cruises the remote Kimberley region.
Amalfi, Portofino, Positano - Italy is home to some of the most beautiful places in the world to wine and dine by the sea but on Sunday 18th you only need to travel to Geographe Bay to dine on canapés prepared by celebrity Italian chef, Guy Grossi.
As guests cruise in the Indian Ocean aboard the 25-metre twin-catamaran, the man behind Garum at the new Westin Hotel Perth and Garum head chef Mario Di Natale, will serve the delicious Italian summer canapés with wines from the Margaret River region.
